5 PS4 Games to Grab at the Current Spring Sale

Yes, we're also expecting the new PS5 and its first exclusives. But the time of social distancing is now. And if you're a playing type, you'll probably like some new titles. Sony realizes it too, so it offers the best of PS4 games at a big April PS4 spring sale!

While it's active (until April 29), you have four more days to grab one of its famous titles and spend more time playing something worthy. These offers are way more attractive than buying the games for regular price. No disc required: you can simply download the edition you select and play it locally, having all the Internet features active with your Plus subscription.

Your location may impact the details of the deals. It may be the discounted price or the edition of the game unavailable in your region. Anyway, these deals seem more than attractive.

Overcooked 2

Overcooked 2

Cooking simulators are quite an established genre, but the Overcooked series is still an outstanding one. First of all, it has multiplayer! So you can team up with up to three mates and go crazy cooking. Second, it's been around for almost two years, and all this time, it's been receiving DLC. So now it's way richer than it was just after the release.

In this game, you open your crazy restaurants in all the least suitable places and cook the impossible foods, but somehow this absurd activity helps you to save the Onion Kingdom from the Unbread Army. All you have to do is cook the right food in the right place and time.

The process is full of puns, references, jokes, and this entire absurdity is cooked just right to make it fun. The gameplay is fast-paced, though, as you need to serve all the customers directly as they place their orders. It's great if you ignored this one before; that means you have a chance to enjoy all this fun and humor that works best for the first time.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

It's the latest and one of the best-received installments in the series. More than that: it's also the longest of all the Assassin's Creed games, so it will provide you with enough adventures for weeks or maybe months. This time your character has to survive in Ancient Greece in the time of the long war between Athens and Sparta. But it's not any of the policies you support: it's your own mission. And no matter whether you're male or female: there's a long road full of adventures, and you're still the one.

If your latest impression of Assassin's Creed is based on any of the previous games (let's forget the movie), it's time to refresh it. Odyssey incorporates much more of RPG elements than of adventure fighting, and its story is way more twisted. As for visuals, they are as fantastic as can be in an Assassin title.

Chances are the next installment will probably follow the ideas of Odyssey in another setting. If you start with Odyssey now, by the time you're through it, the news will spread.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Frankly speaking, we expected this game, one of the most awaited titles of 2019, to be on sale much later. It's one of the most spectacular and elaborate fighting games of this season, and it's so highly praised that it could sell for its current price way longer. So don't miss this offer!

Based on the legends of the Sengoku era, this game is set in Japan, and the samurai world is here at its best. In the Sengoku era, a total war, shinobi (also known as a ninja) were at their highest. Even a damaged shinobi, like the one-handed protagonist, was a serious danger to most samurai or civilians. There are no real people as playable or NPCs, but the details of everyday life are recreated very thoroughly, and combat mechanics will get you delighted.

You might have heard that it follows the Dark Souls mechanics, and it's one of the hardest games ever to play without smashing your DualShock. The truth is just the opposite; exploiting the same concepts, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is one of the easiest to master.

Marvel's Spider-Man

Marvels Spider-Man

While Marvel has regained its right to have Spider-Man in its movies, Sony still produces games featuring one of the most famous superheroes. This one has been among the most expected and rumored PS4 exclusives, and it's still a thing. There are even gamers who bought PlayStation 4 just to enjoy Marvel's Spider-Man (though it was before the game streaming era).

There are few surprises for the fans of the series when it comes to the narrative. Thanks for not repeating the Uncle Ben's story. The Spider-Man we meet now is way more grown, he is quite good with his double life, and he has allies as well as enemies. But when it comes to patrolling the streets of NYC, he can only rely on his abilities and skills that the gameplay makes fantastic use of.

It's one of the most spectacular games on PS4 ever; the streets of New York look realistic, and the motion is captured as detailed as possible given the fantastic abilities. Definitely not a game to miss.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V- Skyrim

Yes, it's still here. And yes, many still consider it the best RPG ever made. And yes, there are even more players that have never played it. If you are one of them, here is a chance to join the Skyrim fans with a discount. But the number of hours spent in the Skyrim won't decrease if you wonder. Rarely is there a game so heavily quoted, generating so many memes, and impacting the industry so heavily.

Like an Elder Scrolls game should, Skyrim takes you to the region where dragons tend to return. Stopping the invasion requires a lot of effort, and exploring this world beyond the main mission will take as much time, or maybe more. In this open world, you will have to learn hunting and mining, cooking and healing, and, of course, fighting humans and inhuman enemies. Its side quests might seem a bit monotonous, but it will take you days of gameplay to get that feeling.

The original game was first released in 2011, and you may have bought its version for your PS3 or Xbox 360. But since that time, it received lots of downloadable content, and all of it is included here. In addition, it was remastered, so its visuals now meet the standards of the 8gen era. So it definitely makes sense for you to buy it again, as strange as it sounds.
